  • Death Waltz Recording Co. has announced five limited edition releases for Record Store Day on April 20th. The UK label was launched by former Rough Trade East manager Spencer Hickman last year, primarily to reissue old horror movie soundtracks from the likes of Fabio Frizzi and John Carpenter. They'll celebrate this year's Record Store Day with a handful of releases of both new and archival material. Steve Moore, star of a recent feature here on RA, has contributed his soundtrack to the Horror Business documentary, with the music apparently heavily inspired by classic Italian horror film scores. Italo disco revivalist Antoni Maiovvi offers up Yellow: Original Music From The Short Film, which the label calls "horror disco," while there will also be three seven-inch reissues of classic TV themes, including Star Trek and The Twilight Zone. All five records are limited to pressings of 1000. Tracklist Steve Moore - Horror Business 01. Intro 02. Theme From Horror Business 03. Dreamers 04. Drive-In 05. Desert Night 06. In The Car 07.
