  • Greek trio Mohammad will release Som Sakrifis through PAN in March. Comprised of Coti K, ILIOS and Nikos Veliotis, the outfit use cello, contrabass and oscillators to create what a press release describes as "long form work drone works that explore the lower end of the frequency spectrum while retaining an intense emotional capacity." The trio's only previous releases—Roto Vildblomma and Spiriti—both came through Barcelona-based experimental label Antifrost. Som Sakrifis features three tracks, with B-side cut "Liberig Min" clocking in at 17 minutes. It will be the second release of the year for PAN, following Jar Moff's recent Commercial Mouth LP. The Bill Kouligas-helmed label enjoyed a breakthrough 12 months in 2012 courtesy of two well-received albums apiece from Lee Gamble and NHK'Koyxen, as well as material from Heatsick and Sensate Focus among others. Tracklist A1 Sakrifis A2 Lapli B1 Liberig Min PAN will release Som Sakrifis by Mohammad on March 7th, 2013.
