  • Critical Bristol will launch on February 15th. The London-based drum & bass label—which we selected as a label of the month back in 2011—has confirmed the West Country as home for its newest residency. Taking place at The Exchange, neurofunk pioneer Ed Rush will headline the party along with label founder Kasra. Hospital's Nu:Tone is also billed, plus Synthesis and recent Critical signee Xtrah. MC duties will be handed over to Bassline and Remidy. The second room will host Apex, a bass music-centric night that itself recently launched in Bristol. Dubstep producer Lurka, Terror Rhythm associate Jay Drop and Apex residents Avra, Lone Ranger and Scruffy will all DJ. Tickets for the gig are available on RA.
