Terre Thaemlitz will play LA and San Francisco this month.
DJ Sprinkles has two shows in California on February 23rd and 24th.
The Tokyo-based producer, who also goes under given name Terre Thaemlitz, will make a trip to the US to play LA and San Francisco. Though Thaemlitz makes experimental and ambient music as well, the DJ Sprinkles moniker is largely used for deep house, and a forthcoming mix CD on Mule Musiq was recently announced under this name.
The first Sprinkles stop is in LA on February 23rd for the second Bottom Bump party, a joint venture by local promoters Bottom Floor and Bump Sensibility. The show will take place at an undisclosed downtown LA location, and runs until 6:00 AM. In addition to Thaemlitz, well-known local John Tejada will play as well as Bottom Floor resident Morgan Alexander and Bump Sensibility's Jaime G.
The San Francisco show takes place on February 24th and will be hosted by Honey Soundsystem. Like most of their Sunday night parties, it'll take place at the Holy Cow, and the usual residents will open—Jason Kendig, Robot Hustle, Josh Cheon and P-Play.
