- Deepchild will headline a party at Primary in Chicago tonight. An Australian native now based in Berlin (and known formally as Rick Bull), Deepchild has put out slick, atmospheric techno and house tracks on labels like Trapez, Affin and Thoughtless Music, which released his most recent LP Neukölln Burning back in October. He's winding down a short tour of the States, and in Chicago he'll link up once again with local promoter Migrashun to play a hybrid live/DJ set heavy on his own material. Another Migrashun favorite is also confirmed: Detroit techno producer Luke Hess, who'll show off his own dubby style with a live set. Handling the night's local support are residents Mathias Matthew and Gavin Marks.
