- The Parisian outpost of the shop-come-record label has opened at a new location.
The team behind Smallville Records have opened a new record store in Paris.
Located at 46 Rue Albert Thomas, the new shop opened its doors last week. It is the fourth Smallville location since Henrik Weber (AKA Pantha Du Prince) and Jacques Bon founded a Paris branch of the Hamburg-based shop in 2006. Smallville is perhaps best known as a deep house label, with a core group of artists that includes Christopher Rau, Move D, Moomin and original founder Lawrence.
Meanwhile it has also been revealed that Smallpeople-the Smallville-affiliated production team of Julius Steinhoff and Just von Ahlefeld-will join Gerd Janson's Running Back label for a 12-inch release entitled In The Jungle.
