  • Berlin icon Ellen Allien has announced details of her latest full-length, LISm. Word of the album surfaced earlier today via FACT, and it has since been revealed that the LP is co-produced by fellow Berlin-based artist Bruno Pronsato. LISm is closely based on a soundtrack Allien wrote with Thomas Muller for the Drama per Musica dance performance. The piece was then performed at the 2011 Spectacles Vivants Festival at the Pompidou Centre in Paris. Last year Allien decided to revisit the project, and called on Pronsato to help extend and tweak some passages. As such, the LP comprises a single piece that clocks in at around 45 minutes in length. Per usual, Allien will release the album through her own label, BPitch Control. Have a listen to the short medley below for an idea of what to expect.
