  • Dasha Rush and Lars Hemmerling, together known as LADA, will play three live shows in Australia next month. Rush, a Russian expat who runs Fullpanda and Hunger To Create out of her current home in Berlin, had only released music as a solo artist since she first emerged in 2005, producing two albums and a string of singles. She joined up with Hemmerling in the studio late last year for their first collaborative 12-inch, "Lostbahnhof", which was warmly received here on RA. The pair have since performed their various shades of raw techno intermittently, taking their live set to clubs like Berghain and Tresor. LADA's Australian debut will take place at Sydney's Phoenix Bar for the launch of a new regular night, Demiurge, on December 7th. On the same weekend, Rush will play a solo set up at Subsonic 2012, which runs through until the 10th at Riverwood Downs Mountain Valley Resort, a few hours north of Sydney. From there, the pair will head down to Melbourne for a show at My Aeon Nightclub on December 14th. The night will be presented by Public Works Department and Machine, with locals PWD and Andrew Till supporting. Tickets to the Sydney show can be purchased here on RA.
