  • Roots Denver will celebrate its fourth birthday on November 23rd. Founded by a crew of local DJs, Roots has a history of bringing international names in underground house music to the Mile-High City. Some of its most notable guests include Carl Craig, Sascha Dive and Claude VonStroke. Their fourth anniversary marks a time of growth for Roots as they plan to expand outside Denver, with parties in New York, San Francisco and other major cities. English house DJ Danny Howells will headline the party at NORAD Dance Bar this Friday, making his first Roots appearance. Howells is a long-time veteran of the global club scene, having made his name in progressive house during its late '90s heyday but adapting his sound over time to take in many other styles. Playing alongside him in the main room are local duo H-Foundation and Los Angeles promoter and DJ Adam Auburn. The smaller Dance Bar room will feature Denver DJs Uriah West, Quin, Full Flavor Music head Greg Campbell plus the Roots residents, Bones and Greg Eversoul.
