  • Pacha will launch its newest franchise in Sydney later this month, with Laidback Luke and Martin Solveig headlining the opening party. Now with a presence in more than a dozen countries outside of their headquarters in Ibiza, Pacha is one of the world's most visible club brands. Australia will be the newest addition for the global house music institution, with four-storey Sydney venue The Ivy having its ten bars taken over every Saturday night with an extravagant visual setup. Pacha Sydney will be curated by local mainstay Jeff Drake who, outside of DJing and production, also hosts popular festivals in Canberra and heads up A&R for Ministry of Sound Australia. The launch party on November 24th will see Solveig and Laidback Luke topping a lineup that also features Pacha Ibiza residents Matt Caseli and Mo Funk. A lengthy cast of local acts have also been booked, including YokoO, Sam Roberts and Nina Las Vegas, as well as new residents Marc Jarvin, Cassette and Devola. The opening night kicks off at 10:00 PM.
