- The two Montreal staples will play at a secretly-located party this Saturday.
- Akufen and Vincent Lemieux will play at Les Nuits de Montreal in New York this Saturday. The series, which local promoter Rude started back in April, has played host to a grip of Montreal artists like Stephen Beaupré, Mightykat and Mossa. A couple more veterans of the city's scene will DJ at the fifth edition of the event: microhouse pioneer Akufen and Lemieux, one of the minds behind Montreal's acclaimed MUTEK Festival (both also help run the label Musique Risquée). On the local side of the lineup are The Bunker's Eric Cloutier and Rude resident Nola. The venue will feature a custom LED light installation for the night.
