XL Recordings will reissue Prodigy's The Fat of the Land this December.
When it first came out in 1997, The Fat of the Land was one of dance music's biggest crossover hits. Thanks in part to its quasi-pop song structures and vocals from eye-catching frontman Keith Flint, it landed The Prodigy in mainstream charts, on MTV and at huge festivals like Glastonbury and Lollapalooza. The album went double-platinum in the US, was nominated for a Grammy and entered the Guinness Book of World Records as the fastest-selling UK album ever.
XL's reissue marks the The Fat of the Land's 15th anniversary. It includes the original ten tracks plus a batch of new remixes from Noisia, Major Lazer, Zeds Dead, Alvin Risk, Baauer and The Glitch Mob. Four of the remixes will also be available as a stand-alone 12-inch.
