  • Gilles Peterson will headline Do Right's tenth anniversary party in Toronto on October 26th. Do Right is a Toronto-based "jazz, soul, funk and hip-hop" label that's put out a wide variety of artists both electronic and otherwise, including dance-friendly acts like Tony Lionni. The imprint evidently counts Peterson's own Brownswood Recordings and BBC Radio show as a major influence, making him a natural choice for the anniversary party. The well-respected London DJ will headline the night at The Great Hall, supported by the local Movement collective of DJs, including A Man Called Warwick, Aki, Jason Palma, Nav and John Kong. Live performances will come from Do Right artists Maylee Todd and the Slakadeliqs.
