- The Berlin outfit's first compilation features artists like Tin Man, Dadub, J.T.C. and DJ Stingray.
KILLEKILL will mark its 10th release this November with a compilation called Megahits
Killekill is a Berlin-based, multi-pronged operation run by Nico Deuster (AKA DJ Flush). It got started in 2008 as a promotions team, with regular Killekill events at Berghain Kantine, Horst Krzrg and Suicide Circus, all of which placed special emphasis on the slightly weirder end of the spectrum (the outfit describes itself as "a contact point for daring artists, a platform for good music of whatever style"). In 2010 Killekill picked up momentum by hosting Berlin's first Krake Festival and starting its own record label, which in the meantime has put out nine records by artists like Alex Cortex, Bill Youngman and Snuff Crew.
All of those acts are featured on Megahits, along with (among others) Dadub, J.T.C. (AKA James T. Cotton, Tadd Mullinix or Dabrye) and Tin Man, who appears once again with the duo Cassegrain. The collection includes all previously unreleased tracks and will be available digitally and on vinyl, the latter of which comes with a poster by Killekill's go-to graphic designer, Flexn.
