Tom Trago plays Turrbotax's relaunch

- This Friday, NYC outfit Turrbotax will begin a "new era" of parties at a new venue, Red Star Bar's loft. The relaunch event will feature a genre-hopping array of artists—not surprising, given that Turrbotax's bookings over the past three years have ranged from Four Tet to Bok Bok to Robert Hood. Flying in this weekend for a rare stateside visit (and his debut local appearance) is Dutch DJ and Rush Hour Recordings artist Tom Trago. Live sets will come from Archie Pelago, the classically trained local trio with a well-received EP recently released on Mister Saturday Night Records, and FaltyDL, another New York artist who has produced for labels like Ninja Tune, Planet Mu and Swamp81. Turrbotax's collection of resident DJs including Contakt and Rem Koolhaus will handle the night's support.
