  • Canadian DJ Konrad Black will return to Australia later this month to play shows in three states. Since co-founding Wagon Repair in 2004 with Matthew Johnson, Black's reputation has for the most part been based upon his talent as a DJ, as demonstrated by his packed touring schedule which has seen him play in more than a dozen countries so far this year. His penchant for deeper house and techno will be on show here in Australia when his tour begins at Melborune's Revolver Upstairs on September 28th. Also on the bill for that one is French house jock Pepperpot and local mainstay Mike Callander. On the same weekend, Black headlines the second day of Manifest 2012 at Bestbrook Mountain Resort in Queensland, which offers a wide variety of electronic acts and art involvement. Sydney will celebrate the October 1st public holiday with an End Of The Line party at the Abercrombie Hotel, where the Canadian will be joined by another secret international guest and an extensive local lineup including Jamie Lloyd, Jay Smalls and Trinity. Tickets to the Sydney show can be purchased here on RA.
