  • Shogun Audio have teamed up with London Warehouse Events for a party on October 20th. The drum & bass label are calling the party their biggest one ever. Taking place at Southwark's Great Suffolk St Warehouse, it features a number of artists from outside the Shogun stable, including drum & bass superstars and MTA Records label bosses Chase & Status and techstep pioneers Ed Rush & Optical, who will play a set made up entirely of '90s and early '00s classics from their Virus label. The usual Shogun fold is represented by founder DJ Friction, Icicle (who will play live), SpectraSoul and a special back-to-back DJ set from Alix Perez and Rockwell. Also featured are lesser known signees The Prototypes and Austrian producer and DJ Mefjus. The second room will see rare drum & bass-centric sets from dubstep founding father Hatcha and UK funky kingpin Marcus Nasty, as well as a V Recordings-themed back-to-back set from Jumping Jack Frost and Bryan Gee. MCs on the night include Shogun guests SP:MC, LX One, Rage and Linguistics. Tickets for the warehouse party are available on RA.
