- The acclaimed experimental trio have a new LP in the works for Editions Mego.
Emeralds will release a new album in November called Just To Feel Anything.
The new record drops two years after Does It Look Like I'm Here, the critically acclaimed LP that vastly expanded the American trio's fan base. Made up of Marc McGuire, Steve Hauschildt and John Elliott, Emeralds are known for their droning, often beatless blend of synthesizers and guitars—something that looks set to continue on Just To Feel Anything. The album will see release on Editions Mego, the Austrian experimental label that released their last LP and McGuire's compilation of solo work, A Young Person's Guide to Mark McGuire. The artwork, typography and sleeve design is done by McGuire, Hauschildt and Mark Fell of SND.
