The inaugural New Year's Day festival in Melbourne also features Matthew Jonson and Space Dimension Controller.
The lineup for the first Let Them Eat Cake festival in Melbourne has been announced, with Kerri Chandler among those confirmed.
Making its debut on New Year's Day, the new festival is the brainchild of half a dozen of Melbourne's top promoters, including Novel and City of Lost Children. Chandler will be joined by a wide range of electronic acts, including prolific Canadian producer Matthew Jonson and R&S youngster Space Dimension Controller, both of whom will be playing live. The Gaslamp Killer will be spinning his eclectic heavy sounds, and drum & bass veteran DJ Marky, who has become somewhat of a regular on these shores, will be making his way over from Brazil with the UK's Stamina MC in tow. Also included in the first announcement are Digital Mystikz, The Nextmen and Dub Phizix.
The festival takes place at Werribee Park, a short drive from the Melbourne CBD. The gates open at 11am on January 1st, 2013, with more artists yet to be announced.
