SAFE turns five with five parties

- The Miami promoter has recruited Maya Jane Coles, Omar S, James Holden and more to help celebrate a half decade of operation.
- Miami's SAFE crew will celebrate its fifth birthday this week. From Alexi Delano to Visionquest, SAFE has brought a who's who of house and techno artists to town over the past few years, and there's plenty more in store for their four-day anniversary series this weekend. It's all happening at SAFE's usual home, the Electric Pickle, beginning Thursday with a headlining set from German luminary DJ Koze. Maya Jane Coles and Claude VonStroke top the bill on Friday, and Saturday sees Detroit favorite Omar-S take a turn on the decks. Sunday features two back-to-back events, starting at 5:00 PM with an afternoon BBQ featuring Eats Everything, followed later that night with Border Community boss James Holden. Lending support throughout the weekend are Will Renuart from the Pickle and SAFE regular Diego. Tickets to each party are available here on RA.
