- Digitalis Recordings will release the Boston-based producer's second LP in September.
Ricardo Donoso will release his second album, Assimilating the Shadow, this September on Digitalis Recordings.
Donoso is Boston-based artist (originally from Rio de Janeiro) with an unusually broad palette—when he's not making electronic music on his own or in the duo Perispirit, he's playing drums in the death metal band Ehnahre. He released his first proper album last year on Digitalis, Oklahoma's main outpost for experimental electronic music (and one time Label of the Month). Though entirely devoid of drums, Assimilating the Shadow reflects a bit more of a techno influence than that LP, with spacey arpeggios adding a bit of rhythm and melody to the ambience. The album will be available digitally, on CD and as a double-LP.
