  • Leo Elstob, AKA Leo Zero, will hit Sydney to play the next instalment of People Must Jam this month. The party, which in the past has hosted the likes of Mark Seven, Rahaan and Trus'me, has been throwing intermittent warehouse gigs since 2010. In this instance they will be presenting Elstob's debut Australian performance after a career spanning nearly two decades. Over that time the English artist has been highly prolific in the studio, with a huge number of remix and production credits to his name as well as a number of disco edit 12-inches and compilations released independently. Known for his eclectic DJ sets, Elstob's broad style often covers psychedelic rock, obscure disco and classic house sounds, the latter of which is explored in his 2011 Acid Life album. His only Australian show will take place on August 25th at a warehouse space yet to be disclosed by the People Must Jam crew. Support will be in the form of residents Pete Dot, Matt Trousdale and JMS. Tickets can be picked up here on RA.
