Rrose plays Pittsburgh and LA

- The shadowy techno artist has a pair of stateside shows planned this month.
- Rrose will play Pittsburgh and Los Angeles this month. Making his debut on Sandwell District barely a year ago with a series of dark, experimentally tinged records—including an album produced with veteran sound artist Bob Ostertag—Rrose has become one of the most well-received new names in techno. Recently he launched his own imprint, Eaux (where he's continued his collaboration with Ostertag), and has continued to play live at select events across Europe and the US (he is also confirmed for Denver's Great American Techno Festival next month). Before that, however, Rrose is billed for a night at Belvedere's in Pittsburgh this Saturday, where he'll headline Humanaut's Out Of Order party. Later this month, on Saturday the 25th, Rrose will play in LA at Droid Behavior's Interface 37, which will also feature Dustin Zahn of Minneapolis.
