- The Berlin producer will release his second album on his own label, Areal Records.
German producer Michael Schwanen, better known as Metope, is ready to release a new album called Black Beauty.
Schwanen seems like the kind of person who likes to juggle a few projects at once: he co-runs the booking agency Omega Oz, is a cofounder of Areal Records (alongside Sebastian Riedl, AKA Basteroid) and plays in the trio Beachcoma. He's also been making lean tech house records for the past ten years or so. Black Beauty is his second full-length, after 2005's Kobol. It shows him teaming up with a few artists from the Areal stable, namely Sid LeRock (AKA Pan/Tone), Stiggsen, Undo and K_Chico. All of the songs on the album are previously unreleased.
