- The US imprint will release a 30-track collection of the trio's work.
New York label Rvng Intl. will release Music Is Painting in the Air (1974 - 1977), a collection of unreleased music from Italian trio Sensations' Fix, in September.
Based around Florence, Sensations' Fix rose to prominence in the early '70s, releasing a string of albums via Polydor over a four-year period. Each of these albums showcased the group's largely instrumental and highly textured aesthetic, which was self-recorded and produced, and composed with the aid of a MiniMoog, guitar, drumkit, four-track recorder and several keyboards. The final result was uniquely DIY-sounding brand of progressive rock that saw them garner a significant and cult-like following around the world.
The forthcoming collection sees Rvng Intl. gather unreleased and reworked music from what was the band's most prolific period, 1974-1977, and will be available on vinyl, CD and digital formats.
