- The US producer will release his sophomore album through Friends of Friends next month.
Groundislava, AKA Jasper Patterson, will release his next album, Feel Me, in August.
Patterson has spent the past few years crafting a mash-up of hip-hop, house and lo-fi pop music from his LA base. To date, most of his releases have been hosted by Friends of Friends, an imprint and collective that also counts the likes of Shlohmo, Daedelus and Tomas Barfod among its roster. Patterson's upcoming full-length comes just over one year since the release of his self-titled debut, an effort that saw him offer up an array of hazy down-tempo and synth-heavy soundscapes. This one includes collaborations with Shlohmo, Houses and Baths among others.
