  • The lineup has been revealed for this year's edition of FYF Fest in Los Angeles, which will be held over Labor Day weekend at the city's Historic State Park. The festival (previously known as Fuck Yeah Fest) has expanded to two days this year—Saturday, September 1st and Sunday 2nd. As usual plenty of bands like Refused, Beirut and Cursive will be featured, although there's still a wide array of more electronic-oriented acts on hand, starting with M83 at the very top of the lineup. Simian Mobile Disco, who played the festival last year and who have continued a turn towards more techno-oriented productions with their recent LP Unpatterns, will perform live, and also confirmed are fellow UK artists James Blake, Gold Panda and DJ Harvey. Edits duo Tiger & Woods are set to appear, while Tycho from Ghostly International and Kompakt fixture The Field will each likely appeal to the hazier side of the dance floor (or in this case, festival lawn). Other highlights include John Maus, Black Dice, Atlas Sound, Dâm-Funk and Chromatics.
