  • Aphex Twin will present a new live routine called Remote Orchestra this October at The Barbican Hall in London. True to its name, the performance involves Richard James conducting The Heritage Orchestra and Choir using remote controlled video projections (have a look at the video below to see what we mean). It first debuted last year at the European Culture Congress in Poland, and features a 28-piece string section plus a 12-person choir. According to the Barbican's programme, this fall's event in London will also see James performing, among other things, "Interactive Tuned Feedback Pendulum Array," a piece inspired by Steve Reich's Pendulum Music.
