  • PAN Records will hold a special label showcase night in Leeds on July 13th. The label was founded in Berlin in 2008 by sound artist Bill Kouligas, and over its four year lifespan has released records by experimental-leaning artists like Keith Fullerton Whitman, Heatsick and John Wiese. Their upcoming UK label night is happen at Leeds' Enjoy Art Space, and will be the first PAN label showcase since last year's Tokyo show in August. The event is headlined by Tokyo's Kouhei Matsunaga under his NHK'Koyxe? moniker, whose recent PAN LP Dance Classics Vol. I was described by RA's Steve Kerr as "tight and straightforward as it gets... skittery, almost pop-friendly beats." Matsunaga's visual art (which can be seen on the flyer) will also be featured as part of the event in a gallery exhibition at the space. Raster Noton duo SNDMark Fell and Mat Steel—will also perform, alongside label boss Kouligas, the UK's Helm, Icasea label head Tom Knapp and Enjoy collective member Rian Trenor.
