  • Greco-Roman will be celebrating five years of operation with parties in Berlin and Paris this week and next. Since its foundation, Greco-Roman has primarily played host to leftward leaning house, bass music and pop. Some of its biggest releases have come courtesy of breakthrough acts, with Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Drums of Death and, most recently, Disclosure all having released their earliest and best-known work through the label. Split between London and Berlin, Greco-Roman was originally founded by Hot Chip's Joe Goddard, Alex Waldron (AKA Full Nelson) and Dom Mentsh, and has thrown regular label parties in both cities for the past few years. This Saturday's bash at Berlin's Stattbad Wedding will be the bigger of the two anniversary events, with Julio Bashmore due to headline with what will be his second set in the city to date. Jimmy Edgar, Hackman and Full Nelson are also confirmed for DJ sets. Paris' Social Club will then host Totally Enormous Dinosaurs, Disclosure and the Greco-Roman Soundsystem next Thursday, June 28th.
