- The outfit's most recent album comes via Z Records.
Joey Negro & The Sunburst Band have just released their fourth album.
The London-based Joey Negro, real name Dave Lee, and The Sunburst Band six-piece first came together in the late '90s, debuting with Here Comes the Sunburst Band. With Lee on production duties, the outfit—which also features live percussion, keys and guitar sections—have spent the ensuing decade crafting jazz- and soul-infused house music, dropping each of their albums and 20-odd singles via Lee's own Z Records. The full-length is the group's first album since 2008's Moving With The Shakers, and features guest vocals from Angela Johnson, Pete Simpson and Darien among others.
