  • Foals have mixed the next edition of !K7's Tapes series, which will be released in early July. The UK indie outfit is the third band selected to curate a Tapes compilation for !K7, after efforts from The Rapture and The Big Pink. Foals has linked up with crossover acts like The Field and Mount Kimbie for remix collaborations over the past few years, and Foals Tapes, the group's first official mix, reveals a similarly keen eye for the more experimental corners of club music. The mix will be released on CD, but its tracks are divided in half like on a cassette: one side is more song-oriented, the other is a bit more track-y. Side A features selections from Nicolas Jaar, Clark and John Talabot, among others, while Edwin Congreave (the main DJ in the band) uses Side B to work in tunes from Arnold Jarvis, Oni Ayhun, Jimmy Edgar and Midland.
