- The Berlin synth popper will return with a new album in June.
Barbara Morgenstern will release her sixth album this June on Monika Enterprise.
The Berlin-based artist has been putting out music since the mid-'90s, but Sweet Silence will mark the first time that she has ever sung exclusively in English. Throughout her career, Morgenstern's main musical focus has been on synth pop with touches of IDM, and the new album is no different. Only one track is longer than four minutes in length, and Morgenstern's voice and lyrics are undoubtedly the focus. (That said, there are three short interludes interspersed throughout.) The album was mixed by Shitkatapult founder T.Raumschmiere.
