  • Oregon's What The Festival? will take place in White River Canyon on July 27th until July 29th this year. This will be the first instalment of the festival, situated in a valley near Mount Hood, about 100 miles east of Portland, Oregon. Some of the bigger names booked to play include Hotflush label boss Scuba, Sepalcure, Ninja Tune's Bonobo (who will play a DJ set), Dirtybird head Claude VonStroke, UK beatsmith Gold Panda and San Francisco producer Eprom. What The Festival? also features a number of smaller-profile, more local acts, like Vancouver/San Fran's ill-esha, L.A.'s Ruff Hauser, Phutureprimitive and DJ Laura. Festival amenities include a number of featured art exhibitions and installations ("The Big Art"), an outdoor hookah lounge with views of the festival site and stages, a manmade pool and beach, activities & workshops including yoga and dance classes, and panel discussions. Food vendors and a full spa will also be located on the festival site, and those looking to get the most out of the festival can spring for the "OMG Package," which provides full weekend passes, but also early entry and exclusive access privileges to the stages and other areas of the festival.
