- Poker Flat will release the German producer's debut album in June.
Alex Niggemann will release his debut album, Paranoid Funk, this June on Poker Flat Recordings.
Niggemann has been kicking around Berlin's club scene for a few years now, playing at venues around the city and putting out records on labels like 8bit, Supernature and Tsuba before landing on Poker Flat in 2011. In terms of style, the 26-year-old Düsseldorf native has always pushed a slick and club-tailored brand of tech house. This continues on Paranoid Funk, an album that flits through different tempos and and guest vocalists while sticking to a floor-friendly 4/4 pulse. Guest appearances come from fellow Berlin-based producer Daniel Solar and Wareika member Florian Schirmacher.
