- The California producer will release his first full-length through Post Present Medium in June.
Zane Reynolds, AKA SFV Acid, will release #2 on June 26th.
The album, released through Dean Spunt of No Age's Post Present Medium label, will be the first full-length effort for the West Coast producer, after various cassettes, CD-Rs and 12-inches on PPM and LA's 100% Silk, as well as a split digital EP with new Planet Mu signee Polysick. #2 is actually a collection of older material compiled from cassette tapes "left... in random places throughout the San Fernando Valley including Goodwill, Pierce Community College, In and Out Burger and Starbucks." Armed with a 303, 808 and an MPC among other bits of hardware, Reynolds makes music that's cut from the same cloth as other lo-fi dance acts from the greater Los Angeles area, though as you could probably tell from his production alias, he has a greater focus on acid house sounds. On #2 he presents both dance tracks and more abstract experiments. The first pressing of the album will be limited to 1000 copies on vinyl and 500 CDs.
