  • Rotterdam imprint Clone will stage a label showcase at south London club Hidden on Friday 11th May. Basement Series vs Royal Oak—two of Clone's many sublabels—is the subheading for the Dutch imprint's upcoming party in London. The artists set to feature at the event have all appeared on either one or both of the labels since they were started up back in 2009. The two-roomed Hidden in south London's Vauxhall will be the night's venue, with the labels taking a room a piece. Like the label itself, the Royal Oak room will loosely be based on house music, with currently high-flying Dutch producer Gerd, Swedish duo Genius of Time and Clone boss Serge all pushing their varying takes on the genre. The Basement Series room, meanwhile, should be on more of a techno and electro tip, as Hemlock boss Untold is joined by Dutch producers Dexter and Conforce. The night will be a co-production between Streets Of Beige and Trix. Looking ahead to the coming weeks at Hidden, highlights include a Heritage Diamond Jubilee special with Hatcha playing a Big Apple roots of dubstep set; German techno artists Mike Dehnert, Roman Lindau and Sascha Rydell celebrating the release of the former's Fachwerk 25 album; and Audio Doughnuts, Civil Music and Tempo Clash hosting Drums Of Death, Darling Farah and dEbruit among approximately 15 other artists. Tickets for a selection of Hidden's upcoming events can be purchased via RA Tickets.
