  • Fred P, will make his Los Angeles debut on May 12th. The Queens-based producer and DJ will make a rare West Coast apperance at a private location in LA next month as part of In Too Deep's No Sleep series. Former RA podcaster Fred Peterkins also goes by the name Black Jazz Consortium, and has released on labels like Underground Quality, Mule Electronic and his own Soul People Music. He's known under both aliases for atmospheric deep house, which RA describedas "come of the smoothest and most evocative four-to-the-floor tracks to come out of the Big Apple over the past decade, coupling his intense, shuffling percussion with simple but effective melody lines that hit you right where it hurts." Peterkin will be supported by LA local and Underground Resistance associate Santiago Salazar, as well as fellow local Dewey Chan. You can get info on the venue by calling a number listed on the flyer (or on RA's event page).
