  • San Soda and Bill Brewster have been booked to play CO-OP's third birthday party on May 19th. The successful party brand and DJ collective have amassed a comprehensive list of guest artists in their three years together, including Motor City Drum Ensemble, The Revenge, Vincenzo and Prosumer. In this instance the house and disco party's headliners will both be making their Australian debuts. Belgian producer San Soda (AKA Nicolas Geysens), at only 23 years of age, has already released a full-length album and more than half a dozen twelve-inches on Red D's We Play House imprint, with the first of these surfacing when he was only 19. On the other end of the scale, DJ History's Bill Brewster has decades of experience under his belt. The author behind "How To DJ (Properly)" and co-author of "Last Night A DJ Saved My Life", Brewster's experience as a DJ, record label manager, party host and journalist is vast, which explain his extensive record collection and eclectic style. The birthday celebrations will be held at One22 on Pitt St, where the two headliners will be supported by the CO-OP DJs. Doors open at 9:00 PM and tickets can be purchased here on RA.
