  • Chris Liebing will return to Australia this coming June to play shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. A prominent figure in the techno community since the '90s, Liebing's work as a DJ, producer and label manager has cemented him as one of the genre's most respected artists. His CLR imprint, now in its 12th year running, boasts releases from producers like Tommy Four Seven, Speedy J, Perc and Liebing himself, while the label's weekly podcast has broadcast guest mixes by the likes of Marcel Dettmann, Surgeon and Adam Beyer. Although he's relatively quiet on the production front in the past couple of years, Liebing's presence on the global DJing circuit has remained consistent, having already played 12 countries in 2012 alone, and presenting CLR parties on an almost weekly basis. This visit to Australia will be his first in three years. Liebing will be packing his tour in tightly, beginning with a show at Chinese Laundry in Sydney on Saturday the 9th of June. The following day he jets to Melbourne, where he will play a day party at Brown Alley alongside Hamburg techno duo Kaiserdisco, kicking off at 2:00 PM. Then that evening, Liebing's third and final show will be up in Brisbane at the Southern Suburbs Football Club.
