  • Kleine Reise Records, a new label by the crew behind Berlin clubs Kleine Reise and Loftus Hall, will release its first EP later this month. Run by a crew of Berlin-based Irish expats, Kleine Reise began as a miniature nightclub in a former bath house next to Gorlitzer Park. Despite its cramped interior and sound restrictions, it became a local favorite, regularly booking international house DJs and hosting a residency by London promoters Warm. In 2011, Kleine Reise stopped hosting club nights and began operating as a bar, while the parties continued over at Loftus Hall, a bigger spot along the canal in Neukölln that's now one of the city's most popular new clubs. Fittingly entitled KR Family: Volume 1, the first EP on Kleine Reise Records comes from two of the key figures behind both clubs: Peter Power, Loftus Hall's music director, and Dara Drea O'Neill, the club's owner and co-founder. Both make their recording debut on the release, and both will DJ at the launch party at Loftus Hall later this month (also featuring Hrdvsion, Patrick Ready and Sarah Miles). KR Family: Volume 1 will be available digitally and on vinyl. Tracklist 01. Peter Power - Sun-K 02. Dara Drea O'Neill - Scribble Me This 03. Peter Power - Red Roses Kleine Reise Records will release KR Family: Volume 1 on April 21st, 2012.
