  • Four Tet and Roots Manuva will headline 2012's Golden Down Festival. The festival will take place from June 15th-17th in the Black Bush Valley on Matterley Estate in Winchester, which the promoter claims has never been used for a festival before. Located in the fields and hills of the valley, partygoers will have access to a chill-out beach area and campsite with bars and concessions. Warm-up sets—a mixture of live and DJ—will be the focus of the afternoons, while artists will play live in the evenings and DJs will play late at night in the Dance Tent. The lineup also features dub pioneer Lee 'Scratch' Perry, Mount Kimbie, Apparat, Kerri Chandler, Hercules & Love Affair, Joy Orbison and many others.
