- The Spanish and Italian house producers team up on the next LP from Plastic City.
Oscar Barila and Maiki will release a collaborative album this month called Parallel Minds.
Barila is a DJ and producer based in Valencia, Spain who's been putting out tech house records since 2007. Maiki is an Italian producer newer to the scene, having just released his first EP two years ago. The pair have collaborated on a few EPs in the past, but Parallel Minds will be the first full-length from either artist, individually or together. In terms of style, it's mostly vocal-heavy, big room house, though not without more subtle and atmospheric moments. The album will see release on the German label Plastic City, a Mannheim institution that's been in business since '94.
