Manitoba's Electronic Music Exhibition will happen in Winnipeg this Spring, also featuring Pearson Sound.
John Tejada and Deadbeat will headline 2012's instalment of Canada's MEME Festival from June 21st-24th.
The third edition of MEME—after being initiated in 2010 by Nathan Zahn to combat local negative perceptions of electronic music—will take place over four days in Manitoba's capital Winnipeg at various venues around the city. In addition to the two names mentioned above, the festival's lineup also includes Hessle Audio founder Pearson Sound, Chicago's Billy Dalessandro, Toronto's Arthur Oskan and Vancouver's Phil Western, along with a slew of other Canadian names. The festival will also mark Tejada's debut performance in Winnipeg, and will feature special workshops from "local industry professionals... and international producers."
