  • Patrick Bodmer, one half of M.A.N.D.Y., is booked for three gigs in Australia over the Easter long weekend. Having founded Get Physical Music ten years ago, the Berlin-based duo have had an illustrious career covering production, remixing, DJing and managing a popular record label. They've done mix CDs for Fabric, Renaissance and Resist Music's now-defunct At The Controls, and also curate the popular Body Language series, which has featured the likes of Junior Boys, Dixon and Matthew Dear. M.A.N.D.Y. returned to release the tenth instalment just last year, some six years after the series first began. While Jung holds down the fort back in Europe, Bodmer will represent the pair in Australia, beginning with a show in Perth on April 5th. The gig, co-presented by local promoters Habitat and Lucid Dreaming, will be held at Shape and will also include Detroit techno artist Stacey Pullen. The following day, the party moves to Melbourne for a Circo Loco event at Billboard The Venue, again with Pullen and also featuring Tania Vulcano and Clive Henry. On April 7th, Chinese Laundry will host the Sydney show, with an extensive local lineup headed by A-Tonez and Tigerlily.
