The Long Beach-based artist will release an album on Ninja Tune in early April.
Yppah, AKA Joe Corrales Jr. will release his third LP on Ninja Tune in April, entitled Eighty One.
Yppah's two prior albums on Ninja Tune have seen the American producer explore IDM, ambient and instrumental arrangements. While the upcoming album references similar sounds, Eighty One is the first time Corrales has worked with a vocalist. Seattle-based singer Anomie Belle features on four of the LP's tracks. She's perhaps best known for acting as the lead vocalist for Tricky's live show when the trip-hopper toured the US and Canada in 2009. Below is the album's first single, "D. Song."
