  • The first edition of a new festival called Love Saves the Day will take place on 3rd June at Castle Park in Bristol. Love Saves the Day is a team effort by some of Bristol's most prominent promoters, including people from Futureboogie and In:Motion. The bill is an amalgamation of varied club sounds. Bass music comes from Ben UFO, Joker, Pearson Sound and Joy Orbison. Jamie Jones and Amirali bring some Crosstown Rebels flavour to the lineup, with the latter playing live. Bonobo of Ninja Tune will DJ, along with Eats Everything, Maya Jane Coles, Huxley and BBC Radio 1 icon Annie Mac. Other highlights include Roots Manuva, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs and edits master Greg Wilson. More acts are due to be announced in the weeks ahead.
