  • Chris Galloway and Stuart Leath have announced two new labels called Emotional Rescue and Emotional Response. Galloway is best known as one quarter of Soft Rocks, a Brighton-based collective with a knack for disco edits, but the labels he's launched with Leath take a different focus. Emotional Rescue is a platform for obscure reissues, with forthcoming releases by Suns of Arqa, '70s kosmische from Cosmic Hoffman and remastered Cameroon afro-disco. This week the label released its first 7-inch: Bob Chance's It's Broken!. The second sister label, Emotional Response, will focus more on new experimental music, with a forthcoming LP from Alan Hurst and an EP from Andrew Weatherall's studio engineer, Timothy Fairplay. Tracklist A1 Wild It's Broken (Test Pressing Version) B1 It's Broken (Original 7" Version) Emotional Rescue released Wild It's Broken! on February 6th, 2012.
