- Pinch, Addison Groove, 2562 and others artists deliver previously unreleased tracks on the Bristol-based label's next compilation.
Tectonic Recordings will release its next compilation, Plates Volume 3, in March.
The collection features unmixed productions by 13 of the artists currently associated with Pinch's acclaimed Bristol label. Tectonic's old guard all show up—2562, Kryptic Minds and Pinch himself—along with a few newcomers to the imprint, such as recent Red Bull Music Academy participant Om Unit and Manchester's Illum Sphere. All of the tracks are previously unreleased, though a few will be familiar to anyone who heard Pinch's Fabriclive 61 mix.
This time around the collection is just one disc with no mix. It will be available digitally as well as on vinyl and CD. You can hear Kevin McPhee's genre-bending contribution, "Outs," right now over at Boiler Room.
