Gabriel Ananda to play new Sydney club launch

- A new Sydney city venue will open its doors for the first time on January 28th with Gabriel Ananda on the decks.
- New Sydney venue One22 will open this Saturday night with German producer Gabriel Ananda headlining the first night. Ananda's prolific production career maintained its pace in 2011 with the release of five 12-inches and a full-length compilation of his own tracks, Selected Techno Works, which included a bonus disc of mostly unreleased "chill-out" productions from the past decade. For his first visit to Sydney since 2007 he'll be playing live. One22's aims to provide an intimate setting for underground house and techno music: Ananda is one of numerous local and international artists booked in the coming months, along with Detroit house staple Rick Wilhilte, ART founder Kirk Degiorgio, Melbourne's HAUL Music live and the eclectic Swedish artist Petter. The club's first night will be this Saturday the 28th of January from 9:00 PM. Tickets are available here on RA.
